Santa Monica's inaugural Ocean Way Festival has been canceled. The event had been slated for Sept. 26 and 27 with headlining performances from the Killers and Olivia Dean, but it will no longer take place due to beach erosion.

"Due to the impacts of Hurricane Marie, the City of Santa Monica has canceled the inaugural Ocean Way Festival," their statement reads. "Storm surf and runoff has caused significant beach erosion and the festival can no longer be safely held as planned."

"We were so excited to spend a weekend together on The Beach, but can share that plans are already underway to bring the festival to Santa Monica in 2027!" the statement continues. "Refunds are being processed automatically, and no further action is required on your part. Please allow a few business days for the refund to appear in your account. See you soon."

The lineup also included Alvvays, Jack White, Khruangbin, Sublime, Durand Jones & the Indications, Vandelux, and more.
