As The Irish Times reports , U2 returned to Mount Temple earlier today, giving their first performance at the school since 1978. The band took the stage to Alice Cooper's "School's Out" and opened their seven-song set with their 1980 breakout hit "I Will Follow." They also busted out their 1979 debut single "Out Of Control" for the first time since 2018, gave their new single "Silencio" its live debut, and played the hits "Vertigo," "Beautiful Day," and " With Or Without You ." Students from the school played strings on " One ." At the end, Bono told the crowd, "Thanks for showing up. I suppose you'd nowhere else to go." Watch some videos below.
