All About Olivia Rodrigo’s Melting Dress on ‘The Unraveled Tour’: Watch ‘The Cure’ Performance Video Now!

One of the most-talked about moments from Olivia Rodrigo ‘s opening night of The Unraveled Tour is when her dress melted away in the middle of her “The Cure” performance.

Olivia , 23, launched her third concert tour on Friday night (September 25) in Hartford, Connecticut and she is going to be on the road through mid-2027 performing the show around the world.

The setlist for the concert is jam-packed with 23 songs, including the biggest hits from Sour and Guts , plus nearly all of her new You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love songs.

While performing “The Cure,” Olivia stands on the B-stage in the middle of the crowd and rain pours down on her. Her paper dress melts away to reveal a red lace corseted dress underneath.

Olivia ‘s stylists Chloe and Chanelle have revealed that the dress was designed by Hussein Chalayan .

Hussein shared the video of the moment and wrote, “Very happy to have designed and developed the melting dress (inspired by my SS 2016 collection, Pasatiempo) for Olivia Rodrigo’s Unraveled Tour.”

The Chalayan show, which took place in April 2016, featured a similar moment with models standing under a shower of water as their clothes melted away to reveal new looks underneath.

The brand said about that show, “The central theme of Cuba continues to influence the Spring/Summer 2016 collection of Chalayan through unique interpretations, which are reflected in the cut of the garments and fabric developments.”

The tour is named after the line in “The Cure” where Olivia repeats the lyric “I’m unraveled.”
