LCD Soundsystem have confirmed a 2026 NYC residency taking place throughout the holiday season.
The new run of shows serves as LCD Soundsystem’s sixth consecutive holiday residency in New York City and will take place at Queens’ Knockdown Center and Brooklyn’s Brooklyn Steel. As per tradition, each stretch of the residency will feature live openers, afterparties featuring DJ sets from special guests, and more surprises; the group will also be donating the proceeds for their November 30th show to a charity that will be announced in the coming weeks.
The run kicks off at Knockdown Center on November 19th, with shows following at the venue on November 20th, 21st, and 22nd. The band will then head across town on November 30th to perform the 100th show of their NYC residency at Brooklyn Steel, followed by sets on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. They’ll return to Knockdown Center for a performance on December 10th, and close out the run with concerts on December 11th, 12th, and 13th. The November and December residency has become a tradition for the New York band, having initially launched their inaugural edition in 2017. They’ve now held a New York residency every year since 2021. The group has remained active through the year, playing a handful of headlining shows and performing at a variety of festivals including Just Like Heaven , Bottlerock , Shaky Knees , Iron Blossom , and more. They teased a new album back in 2024 , but have yet to offer any additional updates on new music this year.
Aside from their upcoming residency, LCD’s upcoming live schedule includes a pair of NYE shows in Aspen, and a run of dates opening for Harry Styles next year.
