The leaves are turning golden, the trains are turning up late, and the London Design Festival is returning for its 24th edition. This year saw giant pangolins, light shows at St Paul's, new work from Tom Dixon, craft meeting tech at the V&A, and a new generation of designers making, experimenting and doing things their own way.

She balances her own projects with consulting jobs for small and international companies including Vodafone, Trivago and Fatmap. Her work has varied from designing a FAD award winning baby chair, snowboard boots and 3D UX for social networks, outdoor adventure and digital city twins, to design strategy, UX and brand consulting for startups. Having earned her Diplom and Masters in Cologne, Sydney and Barcelona, she now splits her time between London and Cologne, and has made her suitcase an integral part of life. On the hunt for inspiration, she writes about design and travel, and has recently founded a small but mighty global collective with like-minded designers, writers and engineers. She loves language, the discovery of our planet, and everything science-based, automated, 3D, collapsible or responsive.
