Along the Florida Coast, a Look at the Coming Season's Gold Accessories
The white sands and blue shores of Florida’s Gulf Coast provide the setting for the 2027 collections' gold-inflected accessories.
When Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort , opened in southwest Florida last year, it marked a new era for the Old Naples beachfront. Taking over the former site of Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, which had occupied this coveted patch of sand since the 1940s, the resort is a fresh twist on an old-school Floridian stalwart. Architect Hart Howerton drew inspiration from the neighboring Old Naples cottages that have long beguiled vacationers with their breezy wood shutters and clapboard siding. Legendary hospitality-focused firm Champalimaud Design handled the interiors, seashell door knockers, rattan touches, and shades of cream and periwinkle in the rooms, while also injecting a shot of contemporary glamour into spaces like the legendary Sunset Bar, where locals and snowbirds have sipped daiquiris in Adirondack chairs for generations.
The arrival of Naples Beach Club has also upped the town’s restaurant game, until now only a handful of options down on Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South, or at the nearby Ritz-Carlton, Naples , which under-went a renovation in 2023. At the flamingo -wallpapered Merchant Room, which feels like a tropical brasserie, James Beard Award winner Gavin Kaysen oversees a steakhouse-style menu, while seafood-centric HB’s serves shrimp cocktails and oyster platters on the sand.

Life here happens on the beach , of course, and the coastline is the best vantage point for getting to know Naples. Take out the property’s resident boat Bella from the Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club for a view of the Port Royal mega-mansions and a chance at dolphin spotting . Do as we did and visit in the spring, before the temps rise and the rains arrive. Happily, though, the Gulf Coast sunsets here will glow all year round.
