Dua Lipa Eats Hot Dog

Dua Lipa had a definitively American experience Wednesday night. The British pop star and her husband Callum Turner attended the Yankees-Rays playoff game at Yankee Stadium, which ended with the once-mighty Yanks crashing out of the postseason yet again. More importantly, it was Dua Lipa's first baseball game, during which she ate her first hot dog.

Lipa was seated behind home plate next to Marlins Man, real name Laurence Leavy, a fan who is often spotted at Marlins playoff games wearing orange team apparel. Marlins Man provided intel on her experience via Twitter, including the news that this frank was Lipa's first.

"So fyi," he wrote. "It was her 1st baseball gane ever. And 1st american hot dog ever. And i got her to stand during god bless america unlike Bad Bunny." He later doubled down on the "first hot dog" news, writing, "I got to tell you. She is super nice. Just married. Abd i wished her 50 years of happiness. Plus was her 1st baseball game and 1st hotdog ever. Special night." He later repeated the factoid in a third tweet. "She was so nice," he concluded. "Best celebrity i ever met."
