Pre-orders for the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI have gone live for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S ahead of its release on November 19th. You can pre-order a boxed copy of GTA 6 now at Amazon for the PS5 version as well as Xbox Series X/S . It is also available digitally at the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
Following the trend of inflated prices in the video game industry, the standard edition of GTA 6 will cost $79.99 on both PS5 and Xbox, a $10 jump from the typical AAA title. The Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99.
For the extra $20, the Ultimate Edition comes with an “exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story.”, Vehicles and Vapid Ganado Retro Build at Jason’s Safehouse
Any player who pre-orders or purchases before November 20th will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, which features the two-tone ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan and Shore Court Garage. It also comes with two exclusive Vice City outfits and hairstyles for both protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
GTA 6 is a digital-only release. The physical version of the game will contain a download code inside the box.
On the PlayStation blog , Sony boasted that GTA 6 will “play best” on the PS5 due to its integration with haptic feedback and the integrated speaker on the DualSense controller . The company also mentioned its Tempest 3D AudioTech, described as “highly accurate audio positioning” that enhances “perception, helping to bring this world to life around you in unmatched ways.”
Rockstar Games did not confirm whether the wildly popular multiplayer Grand Theft Auto Online will be updated when Grand Theft Auto VI launches, simply saying it will feature a “single-player experience” on launch day.
Rockstar Games has confirmed GTA 6 launches November 19th on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Players who pre-order the game will be able to begin pre-loading on November 12th, so it will be ready to go on the release date.
