Ukrainian DJ and producer Nastia has cancelled all forthcoming shows in the United States until the Trump administration "changes its policy towards Ukraine", she says.
In a statement shared on Instagram last week (October 19), Nastia said that she has stopped accepting bookings in the States following the "recent decisions by the Trump administration".
She says that the US has begun "easing economic pressure on Russia and pursuing energy deals that benefit the aggressor, restricting critical military technology used by Ukraine and pressuring Ukraine while Russia continues its attacks."

"[It’s] crossed a line I cannot ignore," she wrote. "My country is fighting for its existence. Ukrainian people are being killed, our cities are being destroyed and our future is being threatened every single day."
She added that she "cannot simply" return to playing in the US as usual while the Trump administration retains its current Ukraine policy, but said that it is not a stand against the "American people, the promoters or the music community".
"I know that many Americans strongly oppose these decisions. Music has never existed outside politics for me. And being an artist does not mean remaining silent when fundamental principles are being violated."

It’s unclear which US shows Nastia has cancelled, though she added that she will not return until there is "a fundamental change in US policy towards Ukraine", and that it is "not an easy decision".
Nastia most recently performed in the US earlier this summer with shows across Austin, New York, Los Angeles and Detroit. She has not returned since June.
