Katy Perry can lean into a theme. The singer is completing a summer concert series as part of her “Out of Office” tour in Europe, and wore an office-inspired look with Vivienne Westwood shoes.
The “Firework” singer took the stage during a concert at Cardiff Castle on Tuesday in Cardiff, Wales, opting for the mary jane-inspired Vivienne Westwood Bacchus shoes in black. The shoe style is crafted from vintage calf leather with an artisanal hand finish. The Bacchus shoes feature the house’s signature three-strap design, inspired by the silhouette of the classic Roman Three-Strap sandal, and triple-buckle fastenings. The straps also create cutout panels on the vamp. You May Also Like
The Bacchus are detailed with engraved silver-tone hardware, inspired by the metal eyelets and buckles of the brand’s Alex belt. The piece is completed with a lightweight, chunky platform sole and a round toe silhouette. The shoes are available in brown and retail for around $375 on the Vivienne Westwood website.
She paired the shoes with a white 3-Dimensional dress shirt with the words “I Am Not a Robot” written on it. She wore the long button-down shirt as a dress, pairing it with an embellished American flag tie. She completed the look with thigh-high white stockings with lace trim that wrapped around the leg.
She wore the same ensemble, including the shoes, during her concert at the O Son do Camiño Festival, in O Monte do Gozo, on June 18 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The show was part of “Out of Office” tour, which is Perry’s current European summer concert series.
The series is primarily a run of European headline festival appearances and exclusive outdoor castle venues, rather than a massive global arena tour. Her recent performances have included the Rock in Rio Lisboa in Portugal, Malahide Castle in Dublin, and the most recent sold-out show at Cardiff Castle in Wales.
As part of the tour, Perry is putting her throwback onstage outfits from the Warper Tour and the “Hello Katy Tour” up for auction. All donations will benefit her Firework Foundation, which focuses on empowering children from underserved communities through the arts. Each night, the “The One That Got Away” singer will reveal an archival tour outfit onstage, and fans can enter a 21-day sweepstakes on Fandiem.com for the chance to win a one-of-a-kind piece of KatyCat history.
