Twisted Teens Announce New Album Florida Water Blues
The New Orleans duo’s second LP of 2026 is out this Friday, followed by an extensive tour
Twisted Teens , the New Orleans duo of Caspian Hollywell and RJ Santos, have revealed their second album of this year; Florida Water Blues , the follow-up to February’s Blame the Clown , drops July 10 via Going Underground . The title track is out today, though, and you can watch its Jack Massuci-directed music video, starring two punk rapscallions, below.
Florida Water Blues spans 13 tracks in total, including the new song, and is Twisted Teens’ third full-length overall. In a short statement, Hollywell describes his band as, “The Kinks of living in a school bus with no wheels on it. The Rolling Stones of Jungian anarchism. The Buzzcocks of the poisoned bogs of south Louisiana. Punk inflected country music, or country inflected punk music idk. Memetic warfare via earworms (it's extremely catchy.) Outperforms all other bands in every metric, drinks every night but still makes it to the gym.”
Twisted Teens are on tour this summer and will embark on another long run of performances this fall, including shows supporting the Breeders and Kurt Vile & the Violators. Find their complete list of upcoming tour dates down below.
