Prong have announced a new self-titled album, due out November 6th via their new label Napalm Records. It marks the veteran New York metal band’s 14th studio LP overall.
Frontman Tommy Victor said, “This could be the best Prong album to date. It’s definitely the best sounding Prong album ever, with the incredible Andy Sneap mixing and mastering it! This record represents a new lease on life for Prong with a new label, a fresh attitude with faster and heavier songs, bigger hooks and top-notch sound quality. That’s why it’s self-titled; it’s a redefining episode for Prong!”
Alongside news of the album, Prong have announced a European tour. The “Prong Uprising” tour kicks off November 13th in Rheine, Germany, passing through Hannover, Germany, and Copenhagen, Denmark, before closing out in Athens, Greece, on November 22nd.
The self-titled album is available for pre-order in a number of vinyl colors, including black, inkspot cristallo/red, and white label.
