Tomorrowland taps Apple Music for first Club Live broadcast
Belgium’s Tomorrowland will partner with Apple Music to livestream its 2026 edition, expanding the European festival’s global digital footprint as Apple pushes deeper into live electronic music broadcasting.
Tomorrowland is bringing Apple Music’s Club Live broadcast series to Belgium for the first time to stream its 2026 edition. The partnership will see six stages from the festival’s first weekend livestreamed for free on Apple Music Club Radio daily from 3:00 PM CET. The event takes place across two weekends in July—17th to 19th and 24th to 26th—in Boom, Belgium, with both weekends also streamed via Tomorrowland’s own platforms.
For Tomorrowland, recently crowned the World’s No. 1 Festival in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals poll for a record sixth time, the deal represents a strategic move to scale its digital distribution. While physical attendance in Boom drives significant local tourism revenue for Belgium, livestreaming partnerships allow the organisers to monetize the event well beyond the capacity of its physical grounds. Handing a portion of its broadcast rights to a tech giant provides access to an international subscriber base that a standalone festival app cannot match.
The agreement also marks a notable expansion of Apple Music’s live event strategy within the European market, following the Club Live series’ debut at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year. Securing the rights to broadcast lineups featuring European and global heavyweights like David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, FISHER, John Summit, Jazzy, Sara Landry, and Avalon Emerson B2B Ben UFO demonstrates Apple's intent to corner the live electronic music market.
“Bringing Tomorrowland into Club Live allows us to connect fans everywhere with the energy, creativity, and atmosphere of the festival as it happens,” said Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic Music & DJ Mixes at Apple Music. He noted that the broadcasts preserve sets for fans to experience again on demand, a crucial feature for driving long-term engagement on streaming platforms.
Beyond the live broadcast, the partnership leverages Apple’s hardware ecosystem by offering a selection of the live DJ mixes in Spatial Audio following the event. This integration of immersive audio technology with live festival broadcasting signals a broader shift in how European music events are packaged for digital consumption. Furthermore, previous Tomorrowland editions are now available to stream via the festival’s dedicated curator page on Apple Music, establishing a permanent digital archive that extends the commercial lifespan of the event.
