Ever since she finally went independent a few years ago, she's been thriving. She scored a couple of excellent viral hits on her 2024 album, 2024's Quantum Baby , and now she's following it with another one called Popstar . She has earned that title. Tinashe hasn't announced any of the Popstar details yet, but it seems likely that " Too Easy ," the sleek and flirty two-minute electro single that she released last month, will be on it. So will Tinashe's brand new track "Crash Out," a minimal, murmuring banger that gives me flashbacks to DJ Mustard's "2 On" production. Tinashe recorded it with the London producer Couros, and the two of them co-wrote it with Bobby Raps and Zikai. Check it out below.
