World's Largest Tortilla in Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico
On November 25, 2013, Ripley México presented the recognition to Tlanepantla municipality for presenting the largest tortilla in the world. It was 3 meters in diameter and weighed 120 kilos; but it was not made to be eaten that day, but to be mounted on a fiberglass structure and sculpted on it. The sculptures were made by art teacher Enrique Ramos from corn dough and represent everything that Mexico means.
