Victoria Monét schedules 22-track RCA album for October release
The Grammy-winning R&B artist will issue her new project through Lovett Music and RCA, leveraging a European stadium tour and house-influenced production to expand her continental market share.
Victoria Monét will release her new album, Frequency Of Love, on October 2 through Lovett Music and RCA. According to digital pre-save listings, the project will contain 22 tracks, incorporating both the newly issued single "Reach Out" and the previously released ballad "Let Me".
The release represents a strategic commercial push for the Atlanta-born singer, who initially built her industry profile as a primary co-writer for Ariana Grande. After securing the Grammy for Best New Artist with her 2023 album Jaguar II, Monét temporarily stepped back from the market before resuming her recording and touring operations. Her transition from behind-the-scenes writing to front-facing stardom highlights a broader industry trend of promoting established songwriters as lead recording artists.
This autumn rollout is designed to capitalize on her expanding live performance footprint. Monét recently announced plans to join the European leg of Bruno Mars’ stadium tour, a high-profile routing that will expose her music to massive continental audiences and drive regional streaming growth.
Musically, the lead single signals a shift toward the house-influenced production currently driving R&B market trends. The track features atmospheric rhythms and was produced by established industry collaborators Kaytranada and D'Mile. These producers also co-wrote the song alongside Monét, Tommy Parker, Ernest McFall, and James Porter.
The marketing campaign accompanying the single relies on premium visual direction to capture consumer attention. Veteran director Dave Meyers shot the music video in sepia style black and white, intentionally referencing early 1990s visual classics like "Vogue". The clip features choreography by Sean Bankhead set against a geometrically absorbing brutalist landscape.
Meanwhile, the album's physical and digital packaging adopts a stark aesthetic, with cover art depicting the singer entirely nude. As RCA and Lovett Music prepare for the October launch, fans can currently secure the project through official digital retail platforms ahead of the autumn release window.
