Right now, the ultra-prolific Australian psych-rock crew King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are on their old-school techno shit. After playing a series of "rave" shows last year, the band fell in love with the modular Eurorack synth assemblage that they nicknamed Nathan. Using that contraption, they recorded their beautifully titled Alien Metal , album number 28 for this group.
