Drone strikes hit Russian retailer as Moscow faces bomb attack

An explosion at a restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow killed at least three people, including the suspected attacker and a security guard, on Saturday night. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin described the blast, which injured 21 others, as a "brutal terrorist attack." Authorities stated a woman carrying a homemade explosive device was stopped at the entrance before it detonated.

The bombing occurred alongside a massive wave of Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Russian infrastructure deep behind the front lines. Among the targets was a warehouse belonging to Wildberries, a major Russian online retailer, located in the Samara Oblast. Regional Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev noted that casualty figures from the logistics strike remained unclear.
