Camilo Duran scored both goals in the first half to settle a tense atmosphere at Celtic Park, where supporters had displayed a banner reading "world-class embarrassment". The Colombian striker opened the scoring in the fourth minute after a mistake by Falkirk goalkeeper and former Celtic player Scott Bain.
