AC Milan secures Omari Hutchinson on loan from Nottingham Forest

AC Milan has completed the loan signing of forward Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest for the remainder of the season. The seven-time European champions also hold an option to make the transfer to the San Siro permanent when the campaign concludes. Hutchinson will wear the number 20 shirt in Italy.

The move represents a significant shift in asset management for Nottingham Forest. Hutchinson arrived at the City Ground just 12 months ago following a £37.5m transfer from Ipswich Town. Despite that substantial capital outlay, the forward managed only 17 Premier League starts last season.

This lack of playing time coincided with a period of intense managerial instability at the club. Hutchinson played under four different managers during his debut campaign in the East Midlands. On the international stage, he was a member of the England Under-21 squad that captured the European Championship in 2025.
