Concert tours are barreling into fall, and — ahh, yes — that means it’s that magical time of year when the kiddos head back to school and the rest of us are left wondering, is summer really over? For the purposes of this post, yes, it is. Walk with us toward the cooler months.
We’ve already shared the most anticipated pop tours of the fall , and now we’re combing through the busy concert calendar to pick out 15 unmissable hip-hop tours that are set to take over autumn. Dozens of mainstream hip-hop artists — and hundreds of independent acts — are hitting the road, hoping to connect with eager fans across North America.
Contemporary heavy hitters like Don Toliver and J. Cole are among the first to embark on their tours, while cultural staples like Pitbull, Lil Wayne, and Wu-Tang Clan also promise to bring the nostalgia early on. Meanwhile, the genre-averse supernova Doja Cat will see her tour extend into December.
It’s not all mainstream acts taking the stage this fall: Underground darlings $uicideboy$, Rod Wave, Chief Keef, Yeat, and EsDeeKid will each seek to connect with their cult fan bases in a meaningful way.
