Vince Staples Lines Up North American Tour
The rapper will enlist a live band to bring his new album Cry Baby to the stage
Vince Staples has lined up a North American tour behind his new album Cry Baby . The rapper will be accompanied by a live band for the run of shows, which take place in October and November. Staples dropped Cry Baby , his first full-length release for Loma Vista , at the beginning of the month. Three tracks from the album, “ Blackberry Marmalade ,” “ White Flag ,” and “ Cotton ”, received high-concept, politically charged music videos. The “Blackberry Marmalade” clip, filmed in the style of a first-person shooter, was quickly age-restricted on YouTube, prompting Staples to write on X , “if you are over the age of 18, make sure to share it with the youth around you. Our children deserve the truth.”
