Watch Skrillex, Porter Robinson and Ninajirachi DJ together at Seattle’s Gas Works Day Party
Nick León, Underscores and Dylan Brady were also among the artists invited to play the Skrillex-organised event
Skrillex, Porter Robinson and Ninajirachi got behind the decks together to perform at Seattle’s Gas Works Day Party on Saturday (29th August).
Nick León, Underscores and Dylan Brady were also among the artists invited to play the takeover, which was built around a succession of B2B and B3B sets, organised by Skrillex.
The no-phones event marked Skrillex's first appearance in Seattle since 2012, when he headlined Bumbershoot at KeyArena.
As Seattle Refined reports, at one point during the party, during which the US superstar played a mix of new material and classics, he gestured to the crowd: “Everyone turn around and look at the sunset; this is what I'm seeing. Shoutout to sunsets."
Although photos and video were prohibited at the event, you can check out some footage from the trio's set below, alongside other moments from throughout the day.
For his first formal interview in a decade, Skrillex recently added his thoughts to the ongoing discussion of AI in music , while also reflecting on his early production journey. The LA-born artist dropped a surprise album in June, ‘SOMA’ , and a collaborative single with Solomun called ‘Rumpta’.
