Jay-Z is celebrating 30 years of his career with an “immersive” pop-up installation in Central London.
Open for five days only, the free-to-visit pop-up is set within a shipping container in Trafalgar Square, featuring an era-spanning display of TV screens showing performances, music videos, and visuals from his 2001 album ‘The Blueprint’.
Inside the installation, which opened on Tuesday, September 1, is a curated collection of merchandise, CDs, vinyl, and more. It will remain open every day from 11:AM until 7:PM, through to Saturday, September 5.
It follows a similar pop-up experience from Jay-Z hosted in Camden last week at the UMusic Shop, which hosted DJ sets from the likes of DJ Target, DJ Semtex and more.
Earlier this week, Jay-Z's entertainment company Roc Nation shared a video of the rapper visiting the Trafalgar Square pop-up, where he spoke to fans and signed merchandise.
The US rapper is set to perform two consecutive nights at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend across September 4 - 5, in celebration of his three decade-long career.

Also marking the occasion, a new eight-part documentary series charting his rise is set for release next month, titled JAŸ-Z In 8 to reflect his recent stage name change.
The series is directed by Rick Rubin and is set to land on MUBI exclusively on September 19, with two new episodes premiering on the platform each week until October 10.
JAŸ-Z In 8 spotlights the artist’s "extensive back catalogue", and is said to "examine the creative process of a music legend, his key influences, formative experiences, and singular approach to artistic innovation."
