Swedish House Mafia announce only European live shows for 2027
Returning to the scene of last month's sell-out concert, only this time over four nights
Swedish House Mafia have announced their "only live shows in Europe" for next year.
The trio will perform four nights at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd, Friday 9th and Saturday 10th July 2027.
Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso have confirmed that there will be no European arena tour, no European stadium tour, and no European festival appearances from them as a trio next year.
“Standing in the heart of Gothenburg, we felt something. The scale, the energy, the connection. The pride of standing together on Swedish soil, with music that travelled from our home to every corner of the world, and hearing it come home through the voices of the crowd," they said in a statement. "And it’s something we want everyone to experience with us. That’s why we are coming back.”
The announcement comes just two weeks after the trio sold out the Ullevi Stadium for a one-off date on 29th August. The event was the biggest concert of their decade-spanning career to date. It also featured an appearance from Ingrosso's daughter, Melina, who joined on stage for a rendition of ' Don't You Worry Child '.
The show on the 29th was one of what was supposed to be two dates, but the planned performance on the night of the 28th was sadly cancelled at short notice due to severe thunderstorms. Anyone who had tickets to the show on the 28th will receive exclusive pre-sale access to the 2027 shows.
Registration for tickets is now open , and will close on Monday 14th September at midnight CET. General sale then begins on Saturday 19th September.
Throughout the week of next year's shows, Swedish House Mafia will host a number of pop-ups, fan spaces and merchandise stores throughout Gothenburg.
Last month, they dropped a new single, ' Happiness Is So Sad ', featuring Lykke Li.
