Any lingering doubts about whether the Gallagher brothers got along during the 2025 Oasis reunion can be put to bed.
Speaking with the UK’s talkSPORT, Noel Gallagher revealed that the band decided to go on their recently announced 2027 tour early into their 2025 reunion. The band made up their mind on the ‘27 tour after the second Wembley show in July of ’25, Gallagher said.
“We were having such a great time” early in the 2025 tour, Gallagher said, adding “why wouldn’t” they tour again.
The guitarist and songwriter elaborated, “Nobody really knew what was going to happen or how it was going to go. So we did Cardiff and Manchester, then by the time we got to Wembley somebody said ‘Well, you know?’ and it was decided we were going to do it.”
The band had to do more European shows, Gallagher said, because fans in other countries had been so good to them over the years. Dates in Boston and Las Vegas came together quickly after they decided on the 2027 tour.
While the new tour dates will surely excite fans, they won’t be excited by any new music. Gallagher was quick to shut down any thoughts about Oasis getting into the studio, saying “There won’t be any new music.”
Gallagher was more open to another tour, leaving the door open to the possibility by simply saying, “I don’t know,” when asked if they would keep playing past 2027.

The Manchester band’s documentary, Don’t Look Back in Anger , chronicling their comeback shows in 2025 hit theaters on September 11th. A streaming release will follow on Disney+ and Hulu later in the year.
