Watch Carl Cox and Louie Vega play disco b2b at [UNVRS] Ibiza

Carl Cox and Louie Vega played a very special b2b disco set at at [UNVRS] Ibiza last weekend.

The set, which took place on 13th September, was the latest instalment of his ongoing residency at the club (which ends 4th October). Previous residency guests include Joseph Capriati, David Guetta, The Martinez Brothers, Chris Stassy, Dennis Cruz, Nicole Moudaber and WhoMadeWho.

Ahead of the show, Cox made clear fans could expect a disco-heavy set from the b2b. In a video posted to his Instagram, he selected a few key records, including Ashford & Simpson’s ‘Don't Cost You Nothin’ and Patrice Rushen’s ‘Forget Me Nots’.

“I’m switching things up tonight, digging deep into the collection and pulling out some of my all-time favourite disco records for a very special B2B with Louie Vega,” he wrote on Instagram on Monday.

2026 has been a big year for Cox, who was recently awarded an OBE for services to music in King’s birthday honours list. In a separate event, Cox also visited the King at Buckingham Palace for the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust (formerly The Prince’s Trust, which famously kicked off Cox’s career with a grant when he was 24).
