AlphaTheta announces OneLibrary support for VirtualDJ

“DJs shouldn’t have to adapt to technology – technology should adapt to DJs"

AlphaTheta has added OneLibrary support for the VirtualDJ software by Atomix Productions.

This means VirtualDJ users can export playlists to a USB drive in the OneLibrary format and load them onto the following hardware: CDJ-3000X, CDJ-1500X, XDJ-AZ, XDJ-AN, OPUS-QUAD and OMNIS-DUO.

“DJs shouldn’t have to adapt to technology, technology should adapt to DJs. That’s why VirtualDJ has always prioritised openness and compatibility, enabling DJs to use any hardware, any format, and any workflow without friction.

"We welcome initiatives like OneLibrary that move the industry toward greater interoperability and simplicity," said Atomix Productions CEO Stephane Clavel.

OneLibrary, which launched in October 2025, is a unified music library format. It allows DJs to use their libraries across hardware and software from different manufacturers by standardising playlists, Hot Cue points and other info.

In other AlphaTheta news, the company recently issued a warning to users about a security vulnerability related to the use of PRO DJ LINK in rekordbox, as well as a number of its CDJ and XDJ products.

AlphaTheta has been expanding its compatibility in recent years, rolling out Apple Music integration for its CDJ-3000X media player in January and last year announcing Spotify support for its DJ software, rekordbox .

The brand has also added several new hardware units to its catalogue so far this year, beginning with its "next-generation" effector, the RMX-IGNITE , in January.
