Meliá and Iberostar quit Cuba: Trump's ultimatum leaves Spanish hotel groups under pressure
Meliá has announced that it is halting operations at 15 Cuban hotels. Iberostar did so on 1 June at 12 hotels, bowing to US sanctions on Gaesa, the military group controlling tourism.
