Coach tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2027 that were oversold in an administrative error will be converted to general admission passes, BBC News reports.

In an email sent to customers by See Tickets this week, the official ticketing partner for Glastonbury, they admitted that more coach tickets were sold for certain routes than there are seats available.

Coach packages, which include a ticket for entry and transport to the festival, went on sale on October 1, with pickup options from dozens of locations across the UK. Those tickets sold out in under 30 minutes.

According to BBC News , those affected by the overselling can keep their coach ticket; otherwise, bookings will automatically convert to general admission passes.

Coach fares will also be refunded, they confirmed, which ranged from £26 to £185 depending on location. The festival was not responsible for the error, BBC News reports.

In their email sent to customers, See Tickets apologised for the mistake and assured that this issue would not affect deposits, which are paid upfront. This year, that deposit rose to £100, up from £75 for its last edition in 2025.

In September, the Worthy Farm festival confirmed ticket prices for its 2027 edition , revealing that they would now set attendees back £408, excluding postage and packaging costs.

Tickets for Glastonbury’s last edition, which took place in 2025 before its fallow year this summer, were priced at £378.50, a difference of £29.50 (7.8%).

General admission tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2027 went on sale on October 4, and sold out within 42 minutes. Well over a million people attempt to purchase tickets each year.
