The new single "RockWave" is built on producer Bhristo's murky distorto-guitar beat, and EsDee just raps hard on it. I still like his accent, but the real thing that I like about "RockWave" is that it sounds evil , like early-'00s crunk music. (It apparently samples Kanye West's posse cut "Mercy,' which might be evil but which is not early-'00s crunk music.) In the Archie Erskine-directed video, EsDee continues to show off the sword and the chainmail from his " Omens " clip, and he also smashes a guitar. Good thing David Crosby didn't live to see this.
