Calvin Harris homecoming show at Glasgow’s Hampden Park Stadium to air on BBC

“Coming back to Scotland to headline two dates at Hampden Park is a huge moment for me"

Calvin Harris's homecoming show at Glasgow’s Hampden Park Stadium this August will air on the BBC.

The Scottish DJ and producer is set to play two concerts on the 1st and 2nd August, with the 1st August concert broadcast on the BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1 Dance and BBC Sounds.

“Coming back to Scotland to headline two dates at Hampden Park is a huge moment for me. I'm excited to play live in front of a home crowd and amazing to be partnering with the BBC and Sony Music Vision on the Saturday show," said Harris.

Harris just kicked off the second season of his "double residency" at Ushuaïa Ibiza that runs every Tuesday night until 2nd October. Armand Van Helden, Diplo, Pete Tong and Romy are among the guests.

Earlier this year, Calvin Harris won $13.5 million as part of legal arbitration proceedings against his former business manager Thomas St. John, who over a $22.5 million "boondoggle" Hollywood real estate project.

Harris is among the artists featured on the new soundtrack for driving game Forza Horizon 6, with Barry Can’t Swim (‘Cars Pass By Like Childhood Sweethearts’), FISHER (‘Stay’), Porter Robinson (‘Cheerleader’), LP Giobbi (‘You Are’), BLOND:ISH (‘Self Love’) and Oneohtrix Point Never (‘A Barely Lit Path’) also contributors.
