A warehouse club is opening in Leeds, Vault

The new space promises to be "Leeds' largest ever warehouse experience"

According to an Instagram post by local promoters Arrival Events, Vault promises to be "Leeds' largest ever warehouse experience" and will set up home in a "brand new, never before used space".

In other Leeds news, the team behind the city's iconic Mint Club are due to open a new 2000-capacity venue, Mint XL , this September. A sign-up link for updates and pre-sale tickets can be found here .

The Yorkshire region has suffered a number of grassroots venue losses in recent years. Overall, there are 45% less dancefloors in Yorkshire than there were in 2020, with longstanding Leeds venues such as Wire and Sheaf Street both shutting their doors.

In January 2025, Leeds club The Old Red Bus Station was forced to close down due to an “unassailable” rise in costs while The Imaginarium also closed later that year, following a mandate from Leeds City Council’s Planning Department .

Meanwhile, former Sheffield venue The Leadmill launched a crowdfunding campaign earlier this year to help find a new home. Local DIY collective Gut Level confirmed they had taken community ownership of a new space on Chapel Walk as of November 2025.
