Timmy Trumpet confirms new album featuring four tracks with singer John Martin
The Australian accidentally broke the news on Tomorrowland's One World Radio
Timmy Trumpet has revealed he has a new album in the works featuring four songs with vocalist John Martin.
Speaking at Tomorrowland last night, in an interview on One World Radio, the Australian DJ said, “I got to work with one of the most iconic voices in dance music,” in reference to new music he’d made with Martin, who is most famous for voicing the Grammy-nominated Swedish House Mafia tracks ‘Save The World’ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child’.
After hinting that Martin might be joining him for his closing set on the Freedom stage, Timmy said, “We’re playing four new tracks off the album tonight.”
Some immediate off-mic discussion with Timmy’s team occurred, making it clear that he wasn’t supposed to mention the album. However, he carried on to say, “We have four new tracks coming out. We’re playing them for the first time tonight. They’re emotional records. This has been an emotional period of my life, a period where I’ve had to stick myself in a studio and write music until I can feel good about myself again, you know? Four of those records will be played tonight, and you know what? They’re coming out on an album.”
Timmy went on to close the Freedom stage on Saturday night, with John Martin joining him to perform tracks such as their recent collab ‘All My Life’ and the classic ‘Don’t You Worry Child’.
