Belgian techno producer Charlotte de Witte has been announced as the surprise mainstage performer for this year’s Tomorrowland festival. The revelation was made via the Tomorrowland Daily newspaper, a publication distributed each morning across the festival site and to local residents in Boom.
De Witte is scheduled to perform on the mainstage on Sunday, 19 July, from 19:40 to 20:40. This high-profile appearance comes exactly 15 years after her initial debut at the event in 2011, when she performed under her former alias, Raving George.
Reflecting on the milestone, de Witte noted the dramatic shift in her professional trajectory since dropping the Raving George moniker in 2015. She stated that her career has "exploded in a crazy way," citing global tours, numerous track releases, and multiple festival returns. She specifically highlighted a historic 2022 mainstage closing set as a female techno act.
