Bowers & Wilkins has unveiled its new high-end loudspeaker range, "the most advanced loudspeaker collection" in its history, the 800 Series Diamond D5.
Released on the UK brand's 60th anniversary later this year, the audiophile-friendly 800 Series Diamond D5 range features seven units: the two-way 805 D5 stand-mount speaker, three-way floorstanding models (804 D5, 803 D5, 802 D5) and the 801 D5.
There's also a pair of high-grade centre channel speakers, the HTM81 D5 and HTM82 D5, which are intended for home cinema use.
Among the structural finishes are a new top plate, spine and plinth and revised drive unit pods, while sound-wise, Bowers & Wilkins promise “more openness, lower distortion, heightened resolution and superior dynamics".
Available to buy from 9th September in four different finishes, Stealth Black, Warm White, Light Walnut and Dark Walnut, you can find more info about the 800 Series Diamond range at the Bowers & Wilkins site here .
Prices vary from £8,000 for the HTM82 D5 to £43,000 for the 801 D5.
Back in 2023, the British audio company rolled out new versions of its high-resolution, noise-cancelling wireless earbuds, the P17 S2 and P15 S2 , which both featured extended battery life.
