The special hour-long performance took place inside the club’s Dome space, surrounded by greenery and a large centerpiece sculpture. Performing a rare, all-vinyl set, the Dutch DJ and producer played a selection of seminal trance hits from Chicane, Energy 52, Paul van Dyk, James Holden, and The Thrillseekers, alongside tracks from his own early catalogue.

Alongside the set upload, van Buuren announced that he will add a one-hour vinyl set to every performance during his upcoming [UNVRS] Ibiza residency . The five-hour residency shows, which celebrate the 25th anniversary milestone of his A State of Trance brand, are scheduled for consecutive Mondays from 7th September until 5th October.

“To give you a little taste of what to expect, I’ve recorded this special one-hour vinyl set at the Dome, that’s now live on my YouTube channel,” van Buuren shared.

In February, van Buuren shared the A State of Trance 2026 official anthem, ‘ Always You ’. He also shared his A State of Trance 2026 mix in March.

Earlier this summer, Tiësto announced his return to trance music , confirming that a new album dedicated to the sound is on the way.
