Watch John Summit drop his Avicii ‘Seek Bromance’ remix at debut Stockholm show
The Chicago-born DJ explained he had been waiting for the right time to drop the remix of the 2010 track
John Summit played his remix of Avicii’s ‘Seek Bromance’ during his first-ever show in Sweden.
The US DJ and producer performed at Stockholm’s Förbindelsehallen on Friday 26th June, during which he dropped the currently unreleased rework of the classic track. The show came during a run of European dates scheduled around Summit’s nine-week Experts Only residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza, which runs from 1st June to 27th July.
“[I’ve] been waiting to remix this Avicii/Tim Berg record for years but never felt it was the right time,” Summit shared in the video caption on Instagram . “‘Seek Bromance’ has that perfect mix of iconic melody and vocals that hit you in the feels every time.
He added: “It’s not an easy record to remix but I knew my first time playing in Tim’s home country, Sweden, was the right moment to finish this edit and play it out. Shoutout to Avicii for being a constant inspiration and thank you to Sweden. You all were unreal. That was seriously a night I won’t forget.”

‘Seek Bromance’ was originally released in 2010 under Avicii’s Tim Berg alias, and became one of the tracks that helped establish his early career. Summit’s remix has so far only been played live, with no official release confirmed.
In June, the identity of the anonymous vocalist on Avicii’s track, ‘Enough Is Enough’ , was revealed after 15 years, while the Avicii-dedicated Tim Bergling Foundation helped organise a landmark youth mental health debate in Sweden.
